Free utility to add subtitles to an AVI video file.
As you may well have been able to work out just from its name, Sub2DivX is a free utility that works to insert subtitles in an AVI video file, using up to 8 .srt or .idx/sub files to do this, and creating a new .divx video file.
These are the principle characteristics of Sub2DivX: it has support for fonts, colours, sizes, shading and other graphic aspects for .srt type subtitles, it automatically varies the letter size if a subtitle is very long, there is horizontal and vertical position definition, left, right or central justification, it offers you a preview window, global configurations for all subtitles, or individually for set subtitles, commands for en masse file processing, etc.
With this Sub2DivX program subtitles can be easily adjusted by customizing their position, inside alignment, colors, font and size. Additionally, the user is presented with options to change the bevel, shadow colour, outline width and colour. It is also very easy to download, install and then use, through its friendly and intuitive user interface. You don't need any technical experience at all to get the most out of it, although it may be confusing at first.
